Perla House: stone villa with private pool in Paxos

The house

Perla is a stone-built house looking out over the Ionian, made for guests who want somewhere well finished and quiet on Paxos. Two bedrooms sit on the first floor of the main house and a self-contained studio underneath adds a third, so the house sleeps six across three bedrooms.

Because the studio has its own kitchen, sitting area and bathroom, it suits two of the party who would like a little independence. The main house upstairs shares the sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen and a wide terrace beside the pool.

Days here tend to be slow: breakfast on the terrace, a swim, and later a walk down the track to Lakkos for the water. Monodendri, a little further along, has Ben's Bar for a cold drink at the end of the afternoon.
